Resort Pike Park Playground Equipment

Resort Township is completely renovating Resort Pike Park on Walloon Lake.  Once finished, this gem of a park will have an expanded beach area, a kayak/paddleboard launch, plus a completely new playground.  In addition, the playground pad is being moved away from the road end to a safer and more scenic spot near the lake.

Construction will start at the end of September 2026 with a rework of the steps and rails to Walloon Lake plus bringing in sand for a beach. In addition to being moved away from the road, the playground will be installed in spring 2027 with a targeted park re-opening of July 1, 2027 as it will take time for the new grass to be ready for the public.

The total budget for this renovation project is almost $400,000, which after doing the landscaping and civil work, leaves the Township short on funding to completely pay for purchasing the $130,000 Penchura playground structure.  Your donations will go directly toward purchase of the playground equipment and not be used for any other purpose.
