Resort Pike – Intertown Intersection Survey Results

Over the summer Resort Township has collected input regarding the safety of the Resort Pike – Intertown intersection. Thank you to each and every individual who provided input. Below are the final survey results as well as the accident data for the intersection.

Now that we have resident input, the next step is working with the Emmet County Road Commission (ECRC) on determining what can be done to improve safety at the intersection.  Resort Township does not control its roads, all decisions are made by the ECRC with input from residents.  Now that the ECRC has our survey results showing the intersection is considered dangerous, we are asking the ECRC to conduct a traffic and engineering study so we can determine options for improving safety.
