Winter Weather Update 3/17/26

The Emmet County Road Commission plans to have all secondary roads plowed by the end of today.  Continual drifting, disabled vehicles stuck in the roads, and unusually heavy snow have greatly slowed progress.

For emergency situations, the Fire Department and the Road Commission are coordinating so that a plow truck will be on site to get emergency vehicles through to the scene.
