Rescheduled Public Hearing Notice: Planning Commission

The Resort Township Planning Commission meeting and public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024, has been cancelled.  The meeting and public hearing have been rescheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

The Resort Township Planning Commission will hold two public hearings on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Emmet County EMS Building, 1201 Eppler Road, Petoskey, MI 49770:

• to consider a conditional rezoning request from One Family Residential (R-1A) to General Residential (R-2B), for the parcel at the corner of US-31 and Blackbird Road, Tax ID 24-13-18-02-300-025, as submitted by Summit Development Group, LLC, and JLD Associates LTD Partnership.
• to consider draft amendments to Section 1500 (c) (2) (b) of the Resort Township Zoning Ordinance pertaining to the calculation of density for multiple family dwellings.
