Pioneer Trails Parking Lot Closure

Please take notice.

Pioneer Trails Parking Lot will soon be closed to accommodate the harvest/salvage (clean-up) of the red pine trees that were damaged in the recent Ice Storm. Logging operations will be centered in this parking area. Once started this work should be done within a couple weeks.

During this time, we invite you to use the Lake Grove Road entrance to PTs (across from 6102) and please stay clear of the East side of the Park (towards Resort Pike).

Trail clearing is continuing on a sporadic (as can do) volunteer schedule. We believe it will take most of the summer to get it back to semi-normal. Please be alert to occasional equipment encounters.
