Compost Park Update
Unfortunately, in the last few weeks large brush and branches have been dropped off at the Resort Township Compost Park, located at 4888 Resort Pike Road. This site is not able to handle these materials and if it continues the site will close. Please review the following rules and regulations to ensure this resource remains available to our community.
The Resort Township Compost Park, located at 4888 Resort Pike Road, will reopen for the 2025 season starting Friday July 4, 2025. Residents may visit Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am-5pm.
The Compost Collection Site has updated Rules and Regulations for the 2025 season.
New in 2025, the compost site will be utilized for yard waste. No large brush or branches are allowed. The compost site will be under surveillance and there will be a gate when the area is closed.
RULES
- Must be a Township Resident to use the compost site.
- Please remove all compost items from containers and bags (unless they are biodegradable).
- Commercial use is strictly prohibited.
- Yard waste and small debris is allowed.

b. Leaves
c. Weeds
d. Pine cones
e. Shrubbery clippings
The Collection Site will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am-5pm in 2025.
The Township appreciates your patience and cooperation as we work through this process after the significant ice storm. We want to offer you a space to drop off your yard waste.
