Draft 2026-2031 Township Recreation Plan Now Available!

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Resort Township is currently working on its proposed 2026-2031 Parks and Recreation Plan. The Resort Township Board of Trustees has opened the required 30-day public comment period on the proposed plan which will be open between November 12 to December 12, 2025.

The draft plan is available for review and download on the homepage of the Township website at www.resorttownship.gov and can be viewed in person at the Township Hall, 2232 Resort Pike Road, Petoskey, MI 49770.

The Resort Township Parks & Recreation Committee will hold a public hearing on the draft plan at a special meeting on December 15, 2025, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Resort Township Hall. The Resort Township Board of Trustees will consider a recommendation for adoption of the plan at their regular meeting on January 13, 2026.
